Why you'd want to live in Lebanon
The City of Lebanon is fortunate to be nestled snugly in the Connecticut River’s Upper Valley, at the Vermont/New Hampshire crossroads of interstate highways 89 and 91, thus we have become known at “The Crossroads of New England.” We are also at the confluence of two rivers, with railroads, air travel and bus service all converging here in this area of the Upper Valley. The Lebanon Area offers a variety of fine restaurants, interesting museums, art galleries, and health & fitness facilities, all within 5 minutes of downtown Lebanon. There are various lakes for sailing and boating, many trails for all kinds of walking and hiking, and fishing on the many streams and rivers – all very nearby.
