Chartered in 1761, Enfield is located in the heart of the Upper Valley. Early on in our history Enfield developed into an agricultural community. The settlement of a Shaker community on Mascoma Lake ushered in a new era for Enfield. Our residents and visitors can enjoy any number of outdoor year round all-season recreational opportunities. We have over 3000 acres of conserved land and over 15 miles of shoreland waiting to be explored.
