I’m Eric Cole, a seventh-generation native of Lebanon, New Hampshire, and co-steward of Ascutney View Farm—land settled by my wife Susan’s family in 1771. Our two daughters represent the ninth generation raised on this land. Susan and I both grew up on neighboring farms, attended the Lebanon School System, graduated from the University of New Hampshire, and continue to live out the values we were raised on. I specialize in rural real estate—working with families to sell legacy farms and forestland, and helping buyers find meaningful properties across the Upper Valley of New Hampshire. My perspective is unique: I was raised on Elm Tree Farm, the Cole family homestead in Lebanon established in 1836, where I learned stewardship, responsibility, and the rewards of hard work. I spent my summers alongside my father and grandfather assisting them in building fine homes throughout the region. With a degree in forest management, I’ve served as a licensed forester, logger, and regional forestry equipment rep—experience that allows me to evaluate land, timber, and homes with insight most agents can’t offer. At Ascutney View Farm, Susan and I raise 100% grass-fed Katahdin lamb through regenerative grazing and operate a 2,500-tap maple sugaring operation. We manage our woodlands for timber, water, wildlife, and recreation, and welcome visitors to connect with the land.
